Getting started with LedgerDue

LedgerDue is designed to be up and running in minutes. Here is the short version — five steps from sign-up to never missing a deadline and task.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email and set a password. In Settings you can add a passkey, so you can sign in even if you forget your password, and turn on two-factor authentication for an extra layer of security.

2. Add your clients

Create a record for each client — sole trader, partnership or limited company. LedgerDue tailors the relevant obligations to the entity type you choose.

3. Track their deadlines

Core obligations like VAT, Corporation Tax, Confirmation Statements and Self Assessment are generated for you. Add custom obligations for anything else, and recurring dates roll forward automatically.

4. Turn on reminders

Choose how you want to hear about upcoming due dates. Turn on email alerts and browser or device push notifications in Settings, and set your own reminder schedule so nothing slips through.

5. Keep your own notes and tasks

Use your private Notes & Tasks workspace for personal to-dos and reminders that are not tied to a client deadline — jot something down, set a due date, and tick it off when it is done.
